My photography style.

I didn't know I had a photography style, but apparently I do. I realized this today during my presentation when I noticed all but two pictures were very close and the framing was very tight. I also like very simple photos. I don't like to have a busy background that is distracting. I would prefer to have no background if at all possible.

Below, there are a few more pictures.

Fan in motion.

This was taken over the summer but I like it.

The aviators.

I needed something to take a picture of and I liked this one.

I like the depth of field in this one.

Simple, tight framing.

Old theater in Sleepy Eye.

More pictures, again.

My photography presentation is this afternoon and I am FINALLY done editing photos, for now.

**Side note, the presentation was pushed back to next Tuesday.**

Courtney's baby, Landon at 11 months.

I like the simplicity of this picture.

A resident gave me the idea to do this. Under it is a Cosmopolitan which is open to an article about make-up, but you can't really see that.

Pearls on my mother's old earring box that I now have. Those are also my mother's pearl earrings. I love pearls.

I feel like I've been taking and editing pictures for most of my life. I'm happy to say that I am done with the first presentation, but there's another one at the end of the semester. When that time comes, there will be more pictures posted. Now, I just need ideas for photos!

Some things I've been working on...

I've been editing photos again. Enjoy!

Frankie.

Captain.

Captain, again.

My dad ice fishing on the lake at sunset. He's on the right.

One of my favorite pictures I've taken.

Picture I took at Ikea, and then I was told, "No pictures in the store!"

My dad's work boots, very well worn.

That's just a few. There will be more to come, eventually...

Yay!

I officially have an internship this summer. Yay!

It's at the Springfield Advance-Press. It's a small weekly and I am looking forward to it immensely.

I was kind of worried I wasn't going to get it and then I would have to scramble to find something else. Then, I was worried I wouldn't be able to find anything else and I would have to do it after next year and then I wouldn't graduate on time. It really was just a horrible hypothetical situation. No need to worry though, because I got it. YES!

Wednesday.

It's Wednesday, and you know what that means? New Collegian! Look for my article.

Daisy.

This is what I spent an hour working on in photography class today.

I am so sick of editing pictures, but I do like how this turned out. I'm (slowly) sharpening my Photoshop skills.

Whoa.

I deleted all my previous posts from MCOM 225. Maybe I'll start taking this seriously...
