Ever so slowly.

Ever so slowly, life has begun to calm down post wedding.  Wedding planning is still a not-so-distant memory, but it is gaining more distance with each passing day.

I would like to thank everyone who made the wedding possible, especially my parents.  Without their love and support, it wouldn't have been possible.  The wedding was everything I ever dreamed about and it was utterly perfect.  When I think back to that day that was merely a month ago, snippets of memories flash through my mind.  People have posted a lot of these memories on Facebook in photo form.  There's a few though, that I don't have a photo of yet.  I've tried to describe them as best as possible.

Being in the church basement with only my mom and photographer.  I wouldn't have gotten dressed for my wedding any other way.  I'm happy that the only person to see me in my wedding dress (besides photos) was my mom.  It was a special time for us.  Anyway, crying with my mom in the church basement right before I was to go and see Sean and begin our photos.  That will always be special to me.  I'm looking forward to seeing those photos.

The, "We are married." conversation Sean and I had quick. (Rebecca's photo)

Charlie was the most dedicated dancer of the night.  He was probably saying, "More." (Becky's photo)

So, thank you (again) to everyone who made that day possible and everyone who was a part of that day.  You all mean so much to me and I love you.

Ever so slowly, life is going back to the way it was before.  My wedding dress will get preserved and the decorations will be incorporated into everyday life.  We'll be set in the housewarming department with all the gray vases we have.  I need to get that stuff from my parents house.  I want to make curtains out of the table runners.  I have plans for that stuff.  My mom is going to make three thousand white dish scrubbers with all the leftover tulle.

Ever so slowly, I begin to look forward to what life has in store.  It's just getting good.

Moved! Internet is back!

Sean and I have moved!  (Finally...)  Thank you so incredibly much for my parents and brother coming to help move all of our crap.  It really is appreciated and we are SO thankful!

An update on the garden.  The garden group is working out the political kinks with the planning council.  It is a lot of jumping through hoops and is annoying.  All I want is my plot to garden.  I don't really care about anything else.

I need to take a picture of my lemon tree.  It was touch and go there over the weekend.  I over watered it a bit and the leaves started getting yellow splotches.  I also gave it too much natural sunlight right away.  For the past couple weeks it has been sitting in the kitchen sink with a grow light, but now with south facing windows the lemon tree can get some natural sunlight.  Well, I didn't acclimate it first and just kind of threw it in the window.  Luckily, it has been cloudy for the past few days so there has been time for the tree to adjust to the new light.  Bad news is one of the three leaves fell off yesterday.  Good news is, the leaves have really perked up today and the yellow splotches are going away.  I'll keep you all posted.

Time to finish watching Glee now and go to sleep.  Pictures to come soon.

Weekend.

Sean and I are headed to Sleepy Eye this weekend. I'm looking forward to seeing my parents, and of course Captain.

Visiting Family.

Sean and I went to Sleepy Eye to visit my parents the past two weekends. We had fun both weekends.

The first weekend Travis, Becky, and Charlie were also there. Seeing those three is always fun and exciting. It is cool to see how much Charlie has changed within a few weeks. He is growing so big now! And of course, he has gets cuter every time I see the little guy.

Last weekend, my mom and I went to two craft fairs while Sean and my dad went to an auction and hooked up the computer to the TV wirelessly. The craft fairs were interesting. I then had a dream about going to a craft fair. (Strange.)

Another strange thing that happened was Captain sat on the back of the couch, right behind Sean. She willingly sat there. She didn't hiss or growl at him either. Just sat there and occasionally stared at the back of his head. It was weird. She must be getting used to him being around. Apparently, as Sean says, they have an understanding. She doesn't mess with him and he doesn't mess with her. I like messing with her, because I know deep down she likes me. :)

Both weekends in a row, Sean and I only planned on staying until Saturday night, but ended up staying until Sunday morning to spend more time there. It doesn't take too long to drive back home either, so we made it back in time for Sean to work Sunday.

This weekend, Sean and I aren't going anywhere. We are staying inside the metro area. We've traveled somewhere for the past three weekends and are staying put this weekend, which will be nice.

Have a great week everyone!
